SPOOKY EVIL IN THE DESERT
ALERT: Roosevelt Lake Group Site camping is still closed and is expected to remain closed through 2020. A decision has been made to move to Usury Mountain Regional Park using individual sites. Pricing will remain the same.
We are placing two tents per site. The sites are 100’ by 50’. There is electricity at each site. Please bring your electrical devices and extension cords.
We are following CDC guidelines for your safety. Please be prepared for SOCIAL DISTANCING and MASKS as prescribed by CDC and local requirements.
Usury Campground on Halloween Weekend Friday Oct. 30 to Sunday Nov. 1. This year we are celebrating our Halloween Campout at Usury Park and the theme for the weekend is ” what evil lurks in the desert around the Tents and RV’s. ” Please join in the fun of decorating your tent for the event. There will be prizes for the Best Decorated Tent, and the Scariest Tent!!! On Friday night bring your best witches’ brew to the Campfire for a round of “not your prettiest moment, DEARIE” stories and roasted marshmallows. Ooh, some buns might get roasted that night!! For Saturday’s dinner DA will provide gourmet hot dogs and brats, cheese tortellini alfredo plus a salad. Guests are asked to bring a Creepy appetizer or dessert and a beverage of your choice. Of course, DA will have all the eating utensils and plenty of cold water. The total cost for the weekend is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. If you only want to come for the dinner Saturday night and all the festivities, it is only $10 for members and $12 for non-members.
