Select (up to 12) photos that you've taken at a recent DA event and then click the Send Files button Your Mileage May Vary If you are using a high speed connection you can send us the photos without formatting them first, however, to successfully upload the photos that you have selected they must be less than 4 meg in total disk space and the upload time can't exceed 90 seconds. High resolution photo files are large and this may prevent you from uploading them (see below for a tip on a free and easy way to reduce the size of your digital photo files).

My photos are too big, what do I do? When emailing photos (or posting them on web sites) they need to be as small as possible or they will take forever for your friends and family to download (especially for those using dial up connections). Ideally you want your photos reduced to 96 dots per inch (the resolution of computer screens). Most photo editing software can handle this but what if you don't have good photo editing software? There is a free and easy way to reduce the size of your photos that's built right into Windows XP (or Windows Vista). Go to the folder where your photos are located and right click the photo. Select Send to... Mail Recipient on the pop up menu... You will get another pop up box that gives you the option of reducing the size of your photos before emailing them... Select this option and then email them to yourself!
